Jimo will transfer State-owned construction land-use rights for 31 pieces of land on Oct 18, Qingdao Morning News reported on Tuesday.

All of the plots are located in the Tianheng town and will be assigned via auction according to Qingdao Morning News. They will be developed into commercial and residential buildings and tourism facilities.

According to Jimo's plans, the city will build a Tianheng Island Provincial Tourist Resort, a 3A level scenic spot, and three new tourist towns: Wangcun, Dingziwan and Jinkou.

As a part of Jimo's Blue Silicon Valley, Tianheng Island Tourist Resort and Tianheng town lie along Hengmen Bay on the southeast coast of Jimo. With beautiful landscapes, abundant natural resources and a mild climate year-round, they are ideal places for tourism development.
