An intelligence tourism project is currently under construction in the Dragon Palace scenic area in Anshun, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

"The project costs 15 million yuan ($2.42 million) and aims to build a comprehensive intelligence system, including video capture system, public broadcasting, SOS and ticketing system," said Wang Dakun, director of the Dragon Palace intelligence system.

Approximately 90 percent of the project will be completed by the end of March. By then, the scenic area will be equipped with 30 CCTV cameras of two million pixels. The new ticketing system will support QR code pass. Visitors can book tickets through e-shops in advance and get through the gate by QR code e-pass.

"The actions of building an intelligence tourism system will eventually facilitate the local tourism transformation and upgrading by regulating tourism management, improving services and innovating marketing methods," said Wang.
