A historical street in Fuzhou, capital of southeast China's Fujian province, has been seeing a panoply of folk custom performances since Feb 21, which will run till Feb 27, surely a spectacular experience that no tourist would want to miss.

Various traditional performances including the yangko, lion dances and street treading delight local residents as well as visitors from across the country.

The street, called Sanfangqixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys), is home to more than 200 ancient buildings, dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is now the largest and best preserved Ming and Qing architectural district in China, with more than 200 well-preserved structures in 159 locations, as well as 28 cultural heritages of different levels.
