The lion’s share 這句成語源自《伊索寓言》的一則故事，故事主角是萬獸之王--獅子。這只獅子擅長狩獵，而且十分貪心，在故事中因?yàn)椴豢习压餐鳙C的戰(zhàn)利品分給其他同伴，而用暴力威嚇同伴，自己獨(dú)享所有的獵物。于是人們據(jù)此創(chuàng)造出了 the lion’s share 這句成語。
the lion’s share (of something): the largest or best part of sth when it is divided 最大或最好的一份
例如：As usual, the lion’s share of the budget is for defence.
預(yù)算中的最大一項(xiàng)照例是國防費(fèi)用。
