I am German I know that many Germans are good friends of China and have donated, several organisations have started their supporting projects, German Red Cross will send a whole hospital by Thursday.
You can be sure, that many, many of the German people feel very sympathetic with the Sichuan victims. There have been longlasting friendship bounds between our two countries and always will be.
May the dead rest in peace and may nature calm down so that there can be hope for those who are in such distress.

to all my brothers & sisters there CHINA...you all have done a wonderful job for the victims of SZECHUAN; especially the government officials & the soldiers. this time the international communities are really all behind CHINA & her people we all want to help in anyway that we can & not only monetary values. the people of the US believe CHINA & its people doing a marvelous job in cooperating with the WENCHUAN earthquake. again, i know the deads are on a safe & smooth journey.

I live in the U.S and I suddenly find myself obssessed with news about China so much so that my day is not complete without reading news here in China Daily and 2 others. My American friends are so impressed at how Chinese can be so united, tough and so patriotic inspite of more than a billion people. They said there are something wonderful about Chinese that the world doesn't know yet.
