Images of a dying star ejecting super-hot gases were captured by NASA in the shape of a pair of lips pursing into a kiss, Daily Mail of London reported. Called V385 Carinae, the star (the white dot in the centre of the red ring) is one of the most massive stellar residents of our Milky Way galaxy. It is around 16,000 light-years away from the earth, about 35 times as large as our sun.(See photo)

 

 

 

 

 

據(jù)英國(guó)《每日郵報(bào)》報(bào)道，美國(guó)宇航局近日拍攝到"宇宙之吻"：一顆暮年恒星正釋放其內(nèi)部的滾燙熱量，形成的星云酷似一張撅起來(lái)的巨大紅唇。這顆正在衰亡的恒星船底座V385(圖中紅圈內(nèi)白點(diǎn))距地球16000光年，是銀河系最大的天體之一，是太陽(yáng)的35倍大。(見(jiàn)圖)
