Cars auctioned for charity

Chassis that carried 23 floats from China's National Day parade in October were sold at a charity auction in Beijing Tuesday, Xinhua reported. Proceeds of RMB3.5m will go to the China Health and Medical Development Foundation and other Chinese charity organizations, said a spokesman for Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd, manufacturer of the floats and host of the auction.

 

 

 

 

 

據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，23輛國(guó)慶游行彩車(chē)的底盤(pán)3日在北京進(jìn)行公開(kāi)拍賣(mài)。彩車(chē)制造商及拍賣(mài)會(huì)主辦方北京福田汽車(chē)公司的發(fā)言人稱(chēng)，拍賣(mài)所得的350萬(wàn)元將全部捐贈(zèng)給中國(guó)醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生發(fā)展基金會(huì)等慈善機(jī)構(gòu)。
