During an MTV show, to promote her latest
album, In the Zone, the 22-year-old singer revealed she felt "just a little
bitter" after her break up with fellow pop star Timberlake.
According to Britain's The Sun, the cheeky blonde giggled after emphasizing
the words "just" and "little" and using her fingers to illustrate her point.
She then "fell about laughing with her camera crew," a source told the
newspaper.
Timberlake, 22, who is dating Charlie's Angels actress Cameron Diaz, 31, has
long been considered one of the showbiz's sexiest men and a ladies' favourite -
so much so he earned the nickname "Trousersnake".
So the news he may not quite measure up to expectations will come as a
surprise to fans.
However Spears's comments could have more to do with her tackling her mean
side than with Timberlake's true glory.
Last month Spears told Newsweek magazine she swore off men for six months
after the break-up because she was so upset.
"There was a time when I was like, 'Okay, I'm over men. They're mean.'"
She also told the magazine of her difficulties in finding a boyfriend "I'm
like, 'What's happening? I know I'm not a lesbian'", she asked.
After spilling the size beans on her old flame, it's unlikely future suitors
will be queuing at the pop princess's door anytime soon, unless they are happy
to read about their private parts in public.
