Hambali supplies up to $45,000 for Indonesian bombs

leader Hambali supplied up to $45,000 in financing in June for bombing
operations in Indonesia, a top Indonesian police official said on Tuesday.
Chief of detectives Erwin Mappaseng told reporters: "there were funds
transferred by Hambali in June of as much as $45,000 for Indonesian bombing
operations."
He said police were still investigating whether the money was used for the
August 5 bombing of Jakarta's JW Marriott hotel, which killed 12.
Hambali, who authorities say is the mastermind of the al Qaeda-linked Jemaah
Islamiah network blamed for last October's Bali bombing that killed 202, was
arrested last week in Thailand.
