Hubei puts its tourism and cultural appeal on display in Kuala Lumpur

To further expand the inbound tourism market from Malaysia and Southeast Asia to Central China's Hubei province, as well as to deepen cultural and tourism cooperation between Hubei and Malaysia, the "Zhiyin Hubei, Majestic Yangtze" tourism promotion event was held in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 5.
Organized by the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the event brought together 18 leading tourism enterprises from Hubei and 96 Malaysian travel companies, drawing more than 150 industry representatives. Discussions centered on potential collaborations, including the launch of direct charter flights and the signing of cooperation agreements.

The promotion event highlighted Hubei's popular tourist destinations, including the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges, Wudang Mountain and Enshi Grand Canyon, showcasing the province's majestic landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
The opening performance, Wudang Kung Fu, enthralled the audience with its balance of motion and stillness, embodying the essence of Chinese martial arts. In the intangible cultural heritage display area, the fragrance of Enshi Yulu – a signature green tea from Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture in Hubei – filled the air, while the elegant Chu-style incense experience drew many guests to stop and savor.
