Xi's discourses on work related to women, children, families published in English

BEIJING -- Two compilations of the discourses of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, have been published in English by the Central Compilation & Translation Press.
One of the two compilations focuses on work related to women, children and women's federations, while the other highlights the importance of strengthening family ties, values and traditions.
Both books were compiled and translated by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee.
The release of the English editions comes ahead of this year's Global Leaders' Meeting on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment in Beijing. The publications are expected to help international readers gain a deeper understanding of Xi's views.
The English editions also serve to share China's wisdom, proposals and approaches in promoting gender equality and the all-round development of women around the world.
