Fan Lihong, curator of the museum, stated that these trials were the first for Japanese war criminals conducted by the Chinese people on their sovereign territory after the founding of New China, giving them international influence and historical importance.
The exhibit recreates the solemn moment when New China independently exercised judicial sovereignty, demonstrating the nation's firm determination to pursue justice and peace.
The museum has partnered with 66 cultural and historical institutions across the country to hold tours covering the war simultaneously. It is expected that over 10 million visitors will view the exhibits.
