2025 Rolex Shanghai Masters returns with top stars
The 2025 Rolex Shanghai Masters, a major highlight of the Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, will take place from Sept 29 to Oct 12 at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Minhang district.
This year's tournament brings an exciting lineup featuring the world's top three players, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev, alongside China's highest-ranked player Zhang Zhizhen, and other members of the global top 100. Tennis legend Roger Federer will also make a special appearance at Center Court on Oct 10.
To enhance the spectator experience, Court 2 has been upgraded with a retractable roof, allowing matches to continue regardless of weather conditions. For the first time, the men's singles draw ceremony will be held at this court. Additionally, Court 17 now includes seating for 1,200 spectators, giving fans a closer view during player training sessions.
Ticketing and discounts
This year's ticketing options have been designed with families, tourists, and dedicated fans in mind, offering greater flexibility. Ticket sales began on July 21. Standard tickets for Court 2 on Oct 1 or 2 purchased before Aug 21 are eligible for a 30 percent discount.
