Fatal water inrush incident claims 3 lives in Gansu

Three miners have been confirmed dead as of 1 pm?Tuesday, following a water inrush accident on Monday night at a coal mine in Baiyin, Gansu province, China Central Television reported.
By 1:02 pm on Tuesday, all three workers who had been reported missing were recovered, but were found dead, the report said.
The accident occurred at 7:43 pm on Monday at a coal mine in the city. At that moment, 133 personnel were on the working face. By 8:10 am Tuesday, 130 had reached safety, while three remained unaccounted for.
Aftermath and recovery operations are underway, it added.
