Hangzhou-based Game Science's Black Myth: Wukong triumphed at the 42nd annual Golden Joystick Awards recently, winning the prestigious Ultimate Game of the Year and Best Visual Design accolades.
The awards, determined by votes from players around the globe, highlight the game's significant impact on the gaming community.
Feng Ji, Game Science founder and producer of Black Myth: Wukong, expressed gratitude during his acceptance speech, saying, "Some say accolades don't matter, but this award is a testament to the unwavering support of our team, partners, and most importantly, the players."
Game Science has now set its sights on another milestone – winning at the upcoming 2024 The Game Awards, for which it has secured four nominations—including Game of the Year. Winners are set to be announced on Dec 13.
