China's first self-developed narrow-body aircraft C919 arrived at Singapore's Changi Airport on Feb 17, ready to make its debut in an international air show, according to the jet's first global customer China Eastern Airlines.
The first C919 took off at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 8:04 pm on Feb 16, successfully conducting a direct flight of around 4,200 kilometers, arriving at Singapore at 01:49 am on Feb 17.
According to the schedule, the first C919 will join four other homegrown aircrafts manufactured by Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC) during the Singapore Airshow that runs through February 20 until Feb 25.
