Han Ying, an acrobat, uses her skills to give a ballet performance echoing the drama "Swan Lake" on the shoulder of her fellow artist Yuan Fei in Tokyo on Saturday at the 2024 Spring Festival Gala hosted by the Union of Chinese Residing in Japan.

The gala is the biggest platform for representatives of Chinese associations from all across Japan and Japan-China friendship organizations to gather together and celebrate the Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival. It also serves as the largest stage in Japan to promote Chinese culture, said He Naihe, chairman of the Union of Chinese Residing in Japan.
