What CPPCC National Committee members say

Wang Hong, vice-president of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang Central Committee, deputy mayor of Beijing
A new formula for boosting rural industrial development should be established to maintain the results of poverty eradication efforts and enhance rural vitalization. It should focus on rural characteristics and urban-rural integration, and also encourage farmer entrepreneurship. I suggested promoting new industries based on natural and cultural resources, and consolidating the existing industrial foundation to maintain the accomplishments of poverty eradication and boost rural vitalization. Urban-rural integration has created a two-way flow of products and industries with the aim of stimulating both and also consolidating the industrial foundation built during the poverty eradication period.
