China-Afghanistan trade surges in H1 2021

 The bilateral trade volume between China and Afghanistan surged 44 percent year-on-year to $310 million during the first half of the year, according to Commerce Ministry spokesman Gao Feng on Thursday.
As of the end of June, investment from China to Afghanistan totaled $430 million, Gao told an online media conference.
The two nation's bilateral trade reached $550 million last year, Gao said.
