Sending children to school, having dinner with family… these ordinary things which most people take for granted used to be the dreams of Shi Hongping.
In the past, due to lack of local employment opportunities, she and her husband had to leave their hometown at Shilan town in Hunan province to make a living. Their children were left behind with her in-laws and the family lived apart for a long time.
Thanks to the establishment of a project called "bring mothers back home", Shi is hired to work at a traditional embroidery workshop near home, which not only brings her decent income but also helps reunify her family.
What is the secret behind the project's success? Watch this video to find out.
