Authorities release circular on Civil Code
Eight central authorities, including the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, have jointly issued a circular on the learning and promulgation of the Civil Code across the country. The Civil Code, adopted by the top legislature on May 28, is a fundamental and comprehensive law that refines rules for protecting civil rights and remedying their infringement. The circular calls for a better understanding of the Civil Code and important remarks from President Xi Jinping on the rule of law, particularly those related to the Civil Code, among the public nationwide.
Book explaining CPC policies is published
A book that helps people better understand the Communist Party of China's decisions and policies on upholding and improving the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics as well as modernizing the country's governance system and capacity has been published. The book, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and focused on the practice of building the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, was jointly published by Xuexi Publishing House and People's Publishing House.
