The UK's Health Secretary Matt Hancock said on Monday that the novel coronavirus would be "with us for at least some months to come", calling the process to tackle this disease "a marathon, not a sprint".
He added that the UK had made 500 beds available for quarantine control and invested a substantial amount of funds to vaccine development.
