Flower arrangement installed on Tian'anmen Square for National Day celebration

A giant basket-shaped flower arrangement has been installed on the south side of Tian'anmen Square in Beijing for the celebration of this year's National Day.
Some fruit designs, like peaches, had already been installed in the flower basket and multiple kinds of flowers are still being added. The main body of the flower basket has taken shape.
According to the city's municipal urban management committee, the capital's environmental authorities have everything in place, including 32 themed flowerbeds along Chang'an Avenue, for the upcoming 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, which falls on Oct 1.
Citizens will put up about 230,000 national flags in different government agencies, parks and squares throughout the city to celebrate National Day, local authorities said.
During the National Day holidays, Beijing will run landscape lighting based on major holiday standards.
In addition, more than 40 spots at Olympic Forest Park, the CBD area, and Sanlitun shopping area in Chaoyang District will light up with themed light shows to celebrate the anniversary until Oct 7.
Since 2011, a basket-shaped flower arrangement has decorated the center of Tian'anmen Square as an annual National Day tradition.
