From premier to researcher: Famous people who sat gaokao 40 years ago

Born in a remote area in South China's Guangdong province, Li Dongsheng sat gaokao in 1978, and was admitted to South China Institute of Technology, which became South China University of Technology in 1988, a cradle of many Chinese entrepreneurs in household appliances industry.
